We are looking for a Sr SDET for our Data Services Team in Pune to ensure high quality delivery of data engineering projects.
Has 4-7 years of strong experience in automation and manual testing of Database, ETL, BI Reports.
Understanding of Data Lake, Data Warehouse and ETL concepts.
Exposure to SaaS applications like Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, REST API, FTP/SFTP.
Experience in automation, automation frameworks and automation delivery preferred.
What You will Do:
You will define quality standards and metrics for the project, working with all stake holders to ensure that the quality metrics is reviewed, closed and agreed upon.
Create a list of milestones and checkpoints and set measurable criteria to check the quality on timely basis.
Define processes for test strategy. Focus on automation of the test plans and continuous improvement in quality process and innovation.
Understand and define risk areas. Create strategy to mitigate risk. Communicate with all stakeholders to make them aware, review and escalate.
Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented.
Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.
Who You Are:
An expert in Data Warehouse, ETL and BI testing.
Well versed in writing complex analytical SQL queries.
Experienced to create ETL jobs when required to test ETL jobs.
Exposure to SaaS platforms like Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite and REST API.
Experience in automating the testing frameworks in data domain.
An excellent communicator, problem solver, team player who can think out of the box and generate new ideas.
You May Also Have:
Exposure to programming language like Python or Java is plus.
Knowledge of SSRS, Power BI is a plus.
Knowledge of Cloud technologies like AWS EC2, AWS S3, Snowflake and CI/CD tools is a plus.
