Job Title - Software Engineer

Department Software Engineering

To manage distressed assets over US $ 8.8 billion with a monthly increment exceeding half a billion, Credence has deployed Artiva Receivables Management as its core debt collection software. The Artiva Programming team is responsible for managing and maintaining this mission critical application.

The Software Engineer in the Artiva Programming team will be responsible for:

1. Implementing new or modified workflows to meet the dynamic business needs and strategies devised by operations and compliance management.

2. System onboarding for new clients and processes. This will involve:

a. Setting up file import and export routines as per client SLAs

b. Configuring the system to meet the data presentation requirements of the business

c. Design and implement work flows required to meet the requirements of the client work standards, operational strategies, regulatory compliance and company policies

3. Analyze, Investigate and troubleshoot issues and gaps identified by the user community

This position will be responsible for managing and addressing the core platform needs of the debt collection business of the company.

Job Role

• To perform coding and testing of software programs and applications
• To assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications
• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending workflow, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes
• Formulate plan outlining steps required to develop program, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development
• Test and develop programming modifications
• Replace, delete, or modify codes to correct errors
• Analyze, review, and alter program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications
• Write and maintain programming documentation and JIRA task tracker
• Provide daily status update on the assigned jobs to the Supervisor / Manager
• Perform work related duties as assigned

Desired Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a programmer in a reputed organization
• Hands on experience in developing or maintaining an ERP or CRM
• Graduation / Masters (preferably Computer Science) with object oriented programming knowledge
• C++ or C# or Java
• VB scripting
• SQL database (RDBMS structure and query)
