Position Summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented quality assurance engineer for the position of Software Quality Analyst I to become a valued member of our product engineering team in our Pune, India office. Utilize your quality assurance experience to help supporting our Mobility, Industry Solutions products with a user base around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an international team in a highly technical environment using advanced transportation asset inspection, management, analytics and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• The Software Quality Analyst I will be responsible to ensure a high quality of Bentleys Mobility, Industry Solutions software products. This goal will be achieved through continuous monitoring/testing the software products, both in pre-release and released state. Work includes development of software test plans, development test scripts, ensuring the graphical and data integrity of engineering calculations against published documents, performance of regression testing and documentation of test and software quality records.
• Working with a global team in an Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery software development process
• Working in dynamic DevOps oriented software development environment

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

• Experience in designing, developing, execution of reusable and maintainable automated scripts using Selenium WebDriver
• 2-4 years of experience of relevant experience
• Understanding of testing / quality assurance process with exposure to defect tracking and change management systems
• Strong sense of logic and understanding of engineering workflow.
• Self-starter with strong problem solving and investigation skills
• Working with responsive web applications in multiple browsers ( Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge)
• Programming –XPATH/CSS selector, Javascript, AJAX, HTML-5, Handling HTTPS, PageObject Patterns• Integrations
• Working knowledge with relational databases ( SQL Server 2014+, or Oracle 19c or PostGresSQL 13+) with the ability to write PL/T/SQL queries
• Knowledge of software life cycle, agile development environment, support, development, or product testing (with a solid understanding of QA/QC processes). 
• Knowledge of automated test procedures and technologies
• Displays ownership in the form of responsibility and accountability for the quality of products and services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity. 
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Experience in agile development
• Has ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity
• Can work under minimum supervision
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like Azure
• Knowledge of Agile, CI, CD and DevOps processes

Bonus skills:

• Understanding of process engineering and work management workflows and GIS
• Working knowledge of automated test tools like Test Complete
• API testing skills using JMeter, PostMan
• Familiarity with server virtualization in the Microsoft Azure cloud
