Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of IT related experience desired
- 4+ years of DevOps experience covering Windows, Linux, GitHub, and PowerShell.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with experience in PowerShell or other major scripting language.
- Solid experience with Azure Infrastructure and Microsoft Windows Server.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems including Ubuntu and Centos.
- Strong working knowledge of Okta, Veeam back up, Azure Sentinel services, Slack etc.
- Strong working experience managing Azure usage and reporting.
- Solid understanding of public clouds, with a focus on Azure including deploying and architecting environments.
- Prior experience in Azure environment automation, monitoring, and security solutions.
- Working knowledge of Azure automation Desired State Configuration (DSC) and Custom Script Extension.
- Working knowledge of Azure Operations Management Suite (OMS).
- Knowledge of Information Security solutions.
- Basic understanding of the following technologies: IP Protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP); IP filtering and firewalling; Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS); Quality of Service; MPLS; Ethernet (STP, RSTP, .1q VLANs, QinQ).
- Familiar working in a data center environment.
- Hands on experience with web technology: Development, Sysadmin, Configuration and Deployment.
- Experience in compiling, installing, and troubleshooting some of the popular open-source applications and server software.
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment where each day provides a new set of challenges under short time constraints involving complex network configuration and/or troubleshooting requirements.
- Experience supporting product engineering teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
Certifications:
Microsoft MCSA or MCSE is a plus
Windows Server 2016 or 2019 certification is a plus
Microsoft Azure certification preferred
CCNA certified or equivalent level of knowledge is a plus
