Role: Support Analyst

Instem is a global provider of leading software solutions and services that are helping over 500 pharmaceutical clients bring their life enhancing products to market faster. We enable clients in the life sciences industry to efficiently collect, analyse, report, and submit high quality regulatory data, while maintaining compliance for their products around the world. 

We are looking for a Support Analyst to join our global helpdesk team with immediate effect, to provide a support service to our global external client base, where you will assist them in the use of our market-leading software solutions. Someone currently in a 1st / 2nd line position supporting internal and/or external customers, would be a great fit for this position, as you will be resolving practical issues with software problems and escalating others issues where required.

Responsibilities include;

  • 1. Responding to telephone support calls and calls received via other media and mechanisms
  • 2. Logging of such calls
  • 3. Provision of advice and assistance relating to products and services
  • 4. Provision of first line support on ORACLE and escalation as required to ORACLE
  • support services
  • 5. Raising / handling of faults as appropriate
  • 6. Reproduction of reported problems and documentation of same
  • 7. Resolution of problems
  • 8. Escalation of problems to technical support within customer support
  • 9. Reporting to customer on progress and resolution
  • 10. Provision of support/advice
  • 11. Contribution to Business Process Improvement initiatives
  • • Liaison and consultation with other departments as both a recipient and provider of information
  • • Provision of Small modifications to the products
  • • A knowledge of applications
  • • Adherence to the Companys Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled
  • Securely, Professionally and Diligently

Key Skills required;

  • In depth knowledge of products/services (NT)
  • Good communication skills
  • Reasonable organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise under pressure
  • (Technical knowledge required) with an ability to recognise need for more specialist
  • input.
  • Knowledge of our Quality Management System and its application to tasks associated with this role
