Roles and Responsibilities
GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and write technical courses on a variety of networking topics
- Run traffic simulators, capture outputs into a variety of formats, including video
- Deliver PowerPoint slides, videos, and Word and PDF-formatted lab books and illustrations
- Own projects from start to finish
- Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to scope and review development projects
- Conduct Knowledge Transfer sessions in person and online
- Provide both internal and external customer training
- Travel internationally as needed, including UAE and KSA
- Provide quick 1 hr. demos / Q&A sessions for customers and partners
- Review product documentation for new software releases, take TOI from Engineering
- Create short videos (< 5 min) on features and troubleshooting
WORK EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- 5 years of experience as a course developer in a networking environment
- Comfortable with virtualization and cloud technologies, including common public platforms (Azure, AWS, Google) as well as Openstack.
- CCNA-level of networking expertise with hands-on experience and solid understanding of layers 4-7
- Linux OS experience (VM and bare metal installation and management)
- Basic installation and configuration of web servers in the cloud (public and private) and on bare metal
- Knowledge and exposure on devops tool like Ansible is desirable
- Knowledge of scripting (shell, python desirable)
- Knowledge of A10 technologies helpful
- Enjoys owning projects and working with minimal to no supervision
- Skilled with managing deadlines
- Experience delivering technical presentations
- Enjoys troubleshooting and solving challenging technical problems under stress
- Superlative writing skills – must present complex topics clearly and succinctly
- Logical mind and positive attitude
