Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design & build on the test automation framework addressing the automation needs for projects and product in alignment with the expectations of our customers
  • Develop test automation software adhering to coding guidelines & standard SW development principles
  • Contribute to automation enhancements by bringing in new ideas, exploring new test frameworks etc.
  • As a scrum team member being able to work and contribute in Agile / scrum way of working
  • Contribute towards test strategy / test plan and execution of test cases manually when needed
  • For Senior profiles: Technical guidance, automation script / code reviews & team competency building

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3-8 years experience as a tester having both functional and automation test experience
  • At least 3-years hands on experience in creating automation scripts.
  • Deep and thorough knowledge on automation esp. scripting based on Selenium (Web Driver)
  • At least 2-year experience in scripting with languages like Java, C# etc.
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks like TestNG, BDD, cucumber and scripting expertize
  • Familiarity with other automation tools like QTP, UFT will be added value.
  • Expertise in SQL / database technologies and proficient in XPATH
  • Know-how of object-oriented PHP programming concepts
  • At least 3-year experience in Software testing for methodologies such as Agile Continuous Integration
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • Familiarity with JIRA / JQL / Jenkins is an added advantage
  • Being able to work and contribute in Agile / scrum way of working
  • Excellent team player with good social and communicative skills
  • Being able to think as the end user and having customer focus
  • Having an experience working in international teams with varied cultures
  • Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills
  • Being able to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
