Roles and Responsibilities

 

1. Managing Data center facility and operations and managing LAN and WAN network including SD WAN and Wireless infrastructure

2. Performs analysis of network, storage and system needs and contributes to design of storage, system and network architecture, integration and installation.

3. Coordinate with other IT teams and acting as escalation point for infrastructure issues across the organization

4. Coordinates with other departments in order to understand and meet their requirements.

5. Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations. Checks systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures

6. Work closely with the security operations team for managing system access and system security.

7. Monitors and maintains network stability, collects and analyzes network utilization, and installs and tests software upgrades.

8. Coordinates with consultants, technical personnel, service providers and vendors for services and products

9. Develops, maintains and tests disaster recovery plans.

10. Develops the team for system and network operations activities on a continuous basis.

11. Maintain, document, review and improve processes for all activities.

12. Collaborate with the functional leads to define processes, operating procedures, and metrics to develop a high-functioning organization.

13. Oversee the configuration and management of the IT infrastructure to support requirements in areas such as data retention, security, business continuity, disaster recovery planning/testing and information risk management.

14. Staying current on technology trends and communicating these trends with the team.

15. Oversee the user account management and development and deployment of patches.

16. Oversee installs, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security for the agency file and database servers.

17. Ensure that the server uptime is meeting the metrics.

18. Responsible for ensuring the opening of new stores in project mode. Ensure execution of new store plan and track installation of assets

19. Ensure repetitive technical issues are zeroed down and resolved on high priority.

20. Measuring and tracking SLA for key service providers of IT Infra.

21. Oversee the asset management aspects along with installs, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security for the file and database servers.

22. Responsible for owning and managing tools internal to IT Infrastructure like Network management tools etc.

23.Review the goals vs. results of all team members, communicate the milestones, improvement areas and motivate the team continuously to achieve higher goals every time.

 

Desired Candidate Profile

 

1.BSC, B.E., B. Tech- ME, MTech in IT or equivalent shall be preferred from an accredited university

2. MBA or Master is preferable.

Certifications like ITIL,PMP, Microsoft certifications, etc. shall be preferred

Experience required- 18+years

 

Key Skills:

 

1. Experience of managing large scalable infrastructure

2. Experience of managing retail store and warehouse IT Infra shall be preferred

3. Experience of Managing internal and partner team towards attaining the objectives

4. Experience in managing rollout of solutions and configurations to all locations and to all assets.

5. Expertise in must have a good understanding of server technologies such as Operating systems, servers, backups, etc

6. Experience in managing device upgrades, OS patching, and configuration management tools

Excellent analytical capabilities to ensure continuous technical and process improvements
