Roles and Responsibilities -

1. Manage LAN and WAN network including SD WAN and Wireless infrastructure
2. Perform analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation.
3. Evaluate network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
4. Check systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures
5. Develop, maintain and test disaster recovery plans.
6. Develop the team for network operations activities on a continuous basis.
7. Monitor and maintain network stability, collect and analyze network utilization, and install and test software upgrades

8. Ensure that the server uptime is meeting the metrics.

1. Work closely with the security team for managing system access and system security.
2. Coordinate with Service Delivery team and act as an escalation point for L2 and above network issues across the organization
3. Oversee the user account management and development and deployment of patches.
4. Oversee installs, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security for the agency file and database servers.
5. Coordinate with other departments in order to understand and meet their requirements.
6. Coordinate with consultants, technical personnel, service providers and vendors for services and products

15. Work closely with the IT GRC team and provide necessary assistance for audit and assurance related activities

1. Work with the PMO team as an when nominated as a project manager to deliver projects related to data center
2. Maintain, document, review and improve processes for all departmental activities under the guidance of Head of IT Infrastructure.

Staying current on technology trends and communicating these trends with the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Experience of managing WAN devices, WAN technologies, SDWAN, Enterprise Wireless networks, Network architecture, AD, Virtualization technologies, and other IT Infrastructure solutions

2. Experience in managing rollout of solutions and configurations to infrastructure devices like servers, routers etc across multiple locations.

3. Certifications like Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), CompTIA Server+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, etc shall be preferred

4. Experience and knowledge of managing Cloud Infrastructure would be an added advantage

5. Expertise in must have a good understanding of server technologies such as Operating systems, physical and virtual servers, storage and backups, disaster recovery

6. Experience in software monitoring, device, OS patching, and configuration management tools

7. Experience on managing network infrastructure (Router, firewall, DNS, file server load balancer etc.)

8. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships including team members, vendors and partners

9. Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to present and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audience

Ability to provide technical and professional leadership, guidance, and training to others.

Educational Qualification:

1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related qualification or equivalent from an accredited university.

Master is preferable.
