In this position, the candidate will implement new aspects of a modern, highly scalable cloud services-based system. The successful candidate will write standard server code using PHP and enterprise SDKs / libraries for the WiSilica cloud platform. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the security, scalability and efficiency of the delivery of particular module/feature/task. The candidate has to ensure proper coding and documentation standards prevalent in the domain and relevant to the company in the project.

Skills/Experience Requirements

• Min 3 - 7 years of professional experience in developing software applications with PHP platform
• Experience in any framework like Zend or Laravel etc.
• Good experience in any flavor of Linux
• Experience in microservice architectures
• Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful web services
• Excellent knowledge of Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Experience with test-driven development
• Desirable experience with tools like Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, confluence, GIT/ SVN Desirable
• Desirable knowledge of PaaS, IaaS, Containers, any cloud like AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
• Desirable experience with high volume and Big Data systems (Hadoop, MapReduce, HBase, Hive)
