* 5+ years of hands on development experience in Java based web applications.
* Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems, Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
* Familiar with various design and architectural patterns and Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
* Good experience with concepts of MVC, Struts, JDBC, and RESTful
* Good experience with Java GUI frameworks like Swing, SWT, and AWT.
* Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
* Basic understanding of the class loading mechanism in Java
* Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
* Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
* Good experience with build tools such as Ant and Maven.
* Familiarity with continuous integration
* Good understanding of data is an added advantage.
