The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of the implementation of projects or processes within Client.  Primary duties include Project Management and Business Analysis core functions, such as meeting facilitations, facilitating all communications between internal and external teams, managing tasks, creating and managing project plans and schedules, project deliverables, assisting with requirements gathering and business analysis, and working with the project team to identify and manage project issues and risks.   

Manager Duties:

·         Facilitate communications between internal and external teams

·         Responsible for in depth understanding of project scope and client requirements

·         Familiarity and working knowledge of all internal and external client/project reports

·         Manage client expectations and maintain communications on status of the projects

·         Escalate decisions and unresolved issues

·         Engage Program Management to coordinate changes to scope and impacts to the Statement of Work agreed upon with clients

·         Manage deviations from plan and forecast delivery dates based on project performance

·         Establish and update project plans/and or tasks

·         Document and obtain approval and track all changes within project parameters

·         Document all issues, risks, obstacles, and delays related to assigned projects

·         Partner with IT project teams to coordinate successful delivery of technical requirements

·         Responsible for facilitating all project meetings, taking meeting minutes, action item lists, and working with project team and management to identify project issues and risks and contingency plans or mitigation strategies as necessary

·         Responsible for ensuring documentation of High Level Internal Process Flow for each project

·         Responsible for ensuring all client requirements are defined as Initial High Level User Stories Based on identified requirements from SOW, Client and Internal Operation departments

·         Provide weekly status reporting to internal SLS management

·         Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

  Business Analysis Skills:

·         Assist project team in eliciting requirements through client interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis

·         Work independently with users to define concepts

·         Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans


·         Work with teams to align project goals with corporate strategy

·         Assist in process improvement and best practices

  Client Relations:

·         Serve as a spokesperson for Client

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including client and external executives, managers, and subject matter experts

·          Maintain strong relationships with clients through good customer service and prompt responses to requests

·         Assist with the negotiation and resolution of problems between internal and external customers

·         Serve as a liaison between customers and technical teams


·         Reporting as assigned

·         Meeting Facilitation Skills

·         Capture and distribute meeting minutes, as well as any key project or business strategy decisions

·         Responsible for all duties and special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications - External Job Specifications Required:

·         4 year College Degree

·         Agile experience. Scrum experience very nice to have

·         Mortgage or finane experience nice to have but not required

·         3-8 years of related project management experience in systems development, product development, and/or project/product management

·         Excellent consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills.

·         Must be engaging and collaborative

·         Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers

·         Critical thinker with excellent judgment and strong initiative

·         Proficiency with MS Office, including Visio and MS Project Professional

·         Experience with MS Project or Jira preferred

·         PMI Methodology
