?             Design,code, test, and debug applications that meet system standards andfunctional/performance requirements.

?             Theposition will be responsible for unit testing and code reviews and otherdevelopment activities for approved projects, system improvements, and ad-hocor emergency requests.

?             Conductscode reviews with peers and management.

?             Serves asa technical leader for junior staff Specialized Skills:

?             Experiencein the areas of application architecture, software development and analysis.

?             Familiarwith standard client/server architecture.

?             StrongOOD / OOP knowledge.

?             Multithreadedapplication experience.

?             Experiencewith the creation of physical and logical design documents.

?             Knowledgeand experience with object-oriented design and implementation.

?             Provenability to carry a feature from start to finish; including prototypes, designspecifications, constructive coding, unit testing, and bug fixing.

?             Abilityto quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of existingapplications.

?             Gooddiagnostic, analytical, design and communication skills

 

Education andexperience:

?             BS inComputer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field required.

?             3-5 yearsof software development experience required in one or more of the following: C,C , objective C or Java.

?             2-3 yearsof experience developing mobile applications in one or more of the followingenvironments: iOS, Android, Windows Mobile & Blackberry.

Responsibilities:

?             Designand develop advanced software applications.

?             Build onSPECIFICALLY ANDROID! iOS and web apps (a plus).

?             Communicateregularly and write clean code.

?             Review,analyze and resolve application issues as needed.

?             Evaluatestrategies and make recommendations on changes and improvements.

?             Collaboratewith team members on the design and implementation of new functionalities onthe different platforms.

?             Consultwith other team members and implement solutions in-line with the departments’visions. Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies toevaluate impact to business and member value.

 

Qualifications:

?             3 yearsin ANDROID Development experience (Swift, Objective-C).

?             Knowledgeand demonstrable work on the current iOS platform.

?             Strongunderstanding of multi-tier architectures, design patterns and good engineeringpractices. Knowledge on how to implement and manage RESTful API’s.

?             Experiencein TDD or BDD a plus.

?             Strongcommunication skills and interest in a pair programming environment.

?             Strongteam member who inspires, innovates, and delivers results to add value and makea difference.

?             User-centric/customer-centric focused, embracing Agile XP practice, and possessing alearning mind-set. Constant monitoring and learning of new technologies and themarket landscape.

?             Four yearcollege degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education andwork experience required.
