As part of the Firm’s growing program of work, the Investment Management Technology (IMT) is seeking an Equity Technology Program Manager (PM) to be based in the Boston office. The IMT team ensures technology project delivery is being effectively managed throughout the project life cycle. In addition, the team provides key stakeholders updates through effective communication, expert analysis and quality customer service.

This PM role focuses on managing Investment Management (IM) and Technology programs / projects spanning various technology groups such as development, enterprise infrastructure, data, technology risk, and governance teams. This opportunity will also provide the individual with a chance to work with senior members of the firm to drive key business and technology initiatives and collaborate across multiple locations.

Qualifications:
-The candidate must have a BS degree
-Minimum of 8 years professional experience, preferably at a major consulting firm or financial institution
-Technology/technical background/understanding preferable
-Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in an investment bank within investment management, with business, business technology and product knowledge.
-Excellent problem-solving skills, goal-oriented, self-motivated and adapts to changing situations and requirements.
-Experience working and leading within large, complex organizations.
-Demonstrated ability to define, staff and mobilize large complex programs.
-Extensive experience in project management of large complex programs and program portfolios.
-Experience communicating program portfolio level status, including issues & risks to executives.
-Strong stakeholder management experience, working with executives (C-level) and cross-functional teams.
-Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and an ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions and develop business cases.
-Strong ability to review and evaluate existing program processes and recommend and lead the implementation of improvements focused on automation and scale.
-Overall experience in hands-on project management, specifically in information technology-related projects essential, and preferably supporting financial services businesses.
-Knowledge in gap remediation, policy and governance would be an advantage
-Excellent verbal and written skill with ability to create high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the audience.
-Outstanding interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
-Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.
-Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
-Proficient in Agile/Scrum, JIRA management, MS-Project, MS Excel, and general MS-Office skills essential.
-High level of EQ
-A willingness to constructively challenge the status quo.
