Medicaid Business User Acceptance Tester

The candidate must be able to explain their ability to perform this role through during an interview with CSG’s testing manager(s)

Please note that we are looking for candidates that have knowledge and experience in the business of Medicaid in financial operations, provider management, and/or pharmacy benefits management. Some experience in participating as a business tester in user acceptance testing is also required. We are not looking for experience in test case development, system or integration testing, or detailed technical knowledge of the MMIS. A person who has substantial experience in Medicaid business operations with some familiarity with UAT is preferred to a person with test case development or technical analysis experience. The candidate must understand the business of Medicaid well enough to execute a business test case independently, e.g. enroll a provider, pay a claim, etc.



Qualifications

Ø Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel 2013+

ü Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite is preferred

Ø Requires familiarity with Medicaid business operations and related terminology as used in a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)

ü Familiarity with Medicaid financial operations, provider management, or pharmacy benefits modules preferred

Ø Requires experience executing user acceptance test cases within a MMIS environment

ü Previous experience capturing testing results and describing defects preferred

ü Familiarity with JIRA/ JAMA testing tool suite preferred

Ø Experience with execution of operational test scenarios/cases for claims adjudication, claims payment and Medicaid reporting preferred

Expectations

1. Work with CSG and client staff to complete user acceptance testing of ODM’s MMIS, including the new modules for Fiscal Intermediary, Provider Management, and Pharmacy Benefits Management

2. Participate in test coordination meetings with CSG, client staff, and solution vendors, record and distribute meeting minutes

3. Execute user acceptance test cases, log defects and test results

4. Support client staff in using test tools, executing test cases, logging defects, and test results

5. Assist with scheduling and preparing for virtual and in-person meetings

6. Interact with State's SharePoint sites to access, upload, and manage documents

7. Willing to quickly learn new concepts and terminology

8. Interact with CSG and client staff on camera (required) using virtual collaboration tools (i.e., MS Teams and Zoom); login credentials will be provided by CSG project team
