Update from hiring manager: Thecandidates can't provide details or knowledge of experiences/works that are ontheir resumes. They put on what the project and or the works done in theproject, but can't explain or provide exampled/details how they themselvesperformed or did the work. Or they were saying that it's done with help ofdevelopers. Sometimes, they do mention that they have the financial industrybackground in the resume. But if you asked them questions or provide detailswhat they worked on, they can't explain.
We are looking for the Business Analyst whohas solid experiences worked on requirements and testing of application anddata. And the BA should have performed the testing themselves rather than justcoordination or write test cases And they should have a basic knowledge of thetechnology and the concept or understanding of how their applications work. Thebiggest disappointment is their resumes look great, but we found out in theinterview that it's just not what stated on the resumes.

The mainfunction of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design,implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.

JobResponsibilities:

• Workswith key stakeholders within all business functions to align technologysolutions with business strategies

• Gathersrequirements from business units and translate those to programmers anddevelopers

• Preparescost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on systemimplementation

•Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problemsand capitalize on improvement opportunities

• Supportsone or more highly complex business processes

• Works onmultiple projects as a project team member

• Serves asa liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order toprovide technical solutions to meet user needs

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computerengineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degreepreferred

• 5-7 years’experience required

• Basicknowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code andbasic functions

• Abilityto create business solutions that increase competitive advantage

• Abilityto exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtainingsolutions

• Projectmanagement skills in order to handle diverse projects, often timessimultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines

• Abilityto solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details

• Abilityto increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
