Need Senior People
As a Software Architect, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to help define solution options for business ideas prior to inception. You will primarily be responsible for the creation and rationalization of solutions as well as the communication of the same to both business and technology stakeholders and providing guidance to the delivery teams for its implementation. In addition, your responsibilities extend to leading the design practice within the team, improving the design process & Artifacts, and providing training & guidance to other members of the team. Other accountabilities include: creating the solution design for new initiatives and contribute to the overall design strategy of the Alternative Solutions Group and Simplii Financial line of business. As well as effectively and accurately translating functional and non-functional business requirements into technical solutions. This includes ensuring alignment of solution designs with low level app designs, and creating reasonable interim solutions of the various phases/workstreams, while considering the desired overall target state outcomes including ease of on-going support. Additionally, you will be accountable for remediating any design and build issues that may arise.
Skills
Must have
• A minimum of 5-10 years as a Java or C++ Technical Architect
• You have a degree/diploma in computer science, computer engineering or a related discipline.
• Ability to translate functional and non-functional business requirements into technical solutions
• Product & Domain knowledge Fintech, digital banking, Payments, Foreign Exchange, International Remittance would be a great asset.
• REST APIs
• Microservice architecture
• CI/CD processes
• DevOps pipelines
Nice to have
• Experience leading technical teams
• Cloud technologies (like docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure)
• Agile, Scrum framework 3+ years' experience
