�        Maintain the database operation and supporting services

�        Provide guidance to developers to insure efficient database use

�        Perform tuning, monitoring and optimization of queries

�        Perform data backup and restoration

�        Perform database changes in conjunction with development team

�        Perform system tuning, performance monitoring and optimizing of SQL

�        Perform data modeling and database design

�        Support and maintain the database schema

�        Manage metadata and data dictionary

�        Perform database capacity planning

�        Participate in code reviews to ensure efficient SQL is employed

�        Perform data movements and extractions via ETL

�        Assist with database application and IT support when needed

�        Address data related problems

�        Perform database storage and capacity planning

�        Manage special projects, as needed Lead any effort involving database migration and upgrade

�        Supervise database backup and restore operations

�        Perform database recovery when needed

Qualification and experience

�        5 years of proven experience as a database administrator

�        Knowledge of Database Mirroring, Multi-Tier, High-Availability application architecture

�        Knowledge of SAN environments and Virtual SQL Server environments

�        Familiarity with Power BI, PowerShell, productivity tools (e.g. MSOffice, Project, Visio)

�        Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory)
