Role :Cyber Security Engineer
Location : Houston, TX – Remote until COVID & then onsite
Job Description:
•CCNP Security, CCIE Security, Palo Alto ACE, Palo Alto PCNSE certification is an added advantage.
•Responsible for implementation, administration and management of customer’s security infrastructure. Expert level understanding of networking & security concepts.
•Should have experience in designing & implementing Network Security solutions like Firewalls (Any two- Checkpoint/Cisco/FortiGate) , Intrusion Prevention Systems, Endpoint Security, PKI,
•Configure, design, evaluate, and integrate information for end to end security solutions
•Experience in handling Cisco Anyconnect or juniper VPN / SSL VPN.
•Experience in managing/troubleshooting Cisco ISE
•Should have good knowledge of proxy (Zscaler).
•Should be experience in SIEM alerts, perform advanced triages and work in collaboration with resolved groups, third party or with designated customer contacts
•Review information security requirements, assess security risks, and define security requirements.
•Communicate and manage client needs and expectations in all phases of their information security solutions.
•Work independently with internal and external areas regarding security requirements for existing and future business
•should have knowledge of Working with incidents, incident management, root cause analysis, availability management
•Shall have good verbal/written communication skills
•Should be willing to work in 24x7 environments
•From time to time travel opportunities may be assigned
•Incumbent should carry continual system improvement mind-set and able to demonstrate in work.
•Client facing technical analysis report and presentation skills
•Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
•Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks & projects, able to work with the team, and manages tasks effectively and has a proven track record of consist & organized outputs.
•The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to understand complex problems and requirements, an aptitude for translating these problems into workable designs & solutions and will possess a keen eye for detail.
•Ability to work with very large and complex network.
•Works closely with Customer, understand their requirement, act as a SPOC for them and work independently /with other teams and provide solution to Customer.
•Able to learn quickly and apply common sense to new situations but understand when it is appropriate to engage others for advice.
•Utilizes a goal-oriented approach, which drives self-improvement both personally, professionally and drives the teams.
•Takes the initiative to work on tasks outside of his or her immediate scope of responsibility and encourages others to do so.
