HCA DART - SQL Developer / Data Analyst

Job Duties:

·  Monitor nightly batch jobs which load data into data warehouse from approx. midnight to 5:30am  ( Not  a night shift)

·  Research and resolve any failures quickly to meet data warehouse SLA

·  Identify and implement improvements in production support alerting for job failures

·  Research data quality issues and identify problem in the code or track it back to the source

·  Work with vendors' technical support teams to resolve issues with data coming thru in APIs

Qualifications:

·  Self driven individual with good problem solving skills

·  Ability to assess downstream impacts of job failures

·  Understands importance of clear and timely communication of production support issues

·  5+ years of Database Development experience

·  5+ years production support including Jenkins or other scheduling tool

Technical Skills:  

·  3+ years SQL scripting including DML (insert/updates)

·  A huge plus for experience with BigQuery database

·  Prefer experience with Google Cloud Platform including Data Fusion tool

·  Nice to have: Jira, Confluence, Freshdesk

·  Nice to have: experience with Workato integration service
