The Azure Cloud Engineer will work closely with all areas of IT to assist in the architecture, design and build of the cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. The engineer needs to have the aptitude to lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design, and implementation of solutions in public Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS You will be working in a collaborative team environment to help implement our cloud and container strategies.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams within IT to implement cloud and/or hybrid systems that support the business goals
Participate in architecture and design session related to cloud strategy
Create and update technical documentation
Expertise aligning business objectives with technical solutions for stakeholder requests
Assist the PMO in driving the successful completion of IT Projects
Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience
Work closely with Medline Cloud team to implement and manage secure, scalable, repeatable, and reliable cloud infrastructure environments
Advanced troubleshooting skills to drive to root cause
The ability to see the “big picture” and scope requirements to the organization’s direction
Motivated with a strong desire to deliver exceptional results in an quickly growing company
3+ years of technical experience in design, system installations, administration, and/or support of business systems
3+ years production level experience implementing and supporting Azure Cloud environment
Hands on experience building and supporting mission-critical IaaS/PaaS solutions for critical applications in Azure Cloud environment.
Deep working knowledge with Azure networking and security
