We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer and Operations Lead to join a technology team that manages and support the Financial Management Group’s Tax Reporting and Advisory systems and platforms which are a mix of internally developed as well as vendor based SAAS products.
You will Lead and work closely with a highly collaborative and supportive team which support and maintain the systems, improve, and automate processes, as well as deliver system changes and enhancements.
In this role, your responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Day to Day Support of the system and production assurance
- Day to Day management of team activities as well as on Hand on tasks.
- Own and manage system changes.
- Working closely with business to understand the challenges and improve operational models.
- Identifying improvement & automation opportunities and implementing the same.
- Aligning applications and infrastructure with group wide policies and standards
- Working closely with development team to ensure change management while implementing changes for project/enhancement
- Issue tracking and resolution
- Proactively working/managing system performance enhancement
- Ensuring support processes are followed in alignment with broader IT operations teams/processes.
- Monitoring and promoting the effective use of application.
IT Operation team is responsible for:
- Application Monitoring and Event/Alert Management
- Production assurance (Patching, vulnerability managed, soft rolls)
- Application changes and enhancements
- Incident Management (L2 support)
- Request Management (L2 support)
- Change Management (UAT and Prod Release Management)
- Risk Management (including Periodic DR tests)
