This is a hands-on technical role. The candidate should be comfortable working with Microsoft .NET framework, C#, multi-threading, Unit Testing Frameworks (MsTest V2/nUnit/xUnit), complex, high-performance, techno-functional environment.
The candidate will be tasked with migrating applications as part of technology modernization initiative and maintaining existing applications.
Should have hands-on experience with SQL Server DBMS, knowledge about working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Should be able to design minor components, work independently and mentor junior team members as required.
Develop technical components as per technical standards. Enhance and maintain existing components and services.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Provide level-3 support to troubleshoot production issues and assist users with their queries
Qualifications:
8 Years+ of Strong experience in application designing, development and testing applications.
Proficient in .NET framework 4.0 onwards, C# 4 onwards, Generics, front-end development using WPF/XAML, collections and multi-threaded programming skill.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient with SQL Server RDBMS.
Experience with build tools MSBuild
Familiarity with Powershell scripting and Jenkins for deployment.
Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Any experience on web-based front-end technology like ReactJS, Kubernetes, Docker and other cloud technologies will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is beneficial.
Experience with Investment Banking - Fixed Income domain will be an advantage
