Minimum 5 + years of experience as a Business Analyst with a specialization in P&C Insurance .
Strong Experience in Insurance Package product implementation.
Experience with Duck Creek Technologies is preferred.
Well versed with US P&C Insurance. ISO Knowledge and Understanding a must.
Ability to understand company’s business strategy, operating vision, business imperatives and capabilities and how they affect technology imperatives
Ability to analyze, organize, and model well written requirement documentation, without ambiguity and with traceability.
Ability to define opportunities to create business value for the clients and define the specific business solution and structure needed to realize these opportunities and also define how these proposed solution will fit into the overall enterprise architecture.
Ability to accomplish all Business Analyst tasks for larger and more complex projects
Participates in project planning, scoping exercises, and takes an active role with business stakeholder initiatives
Elicits detailed product requirements and use cases to develop and maintain the business requirements
Transitions the requirements and use cases to the technical team and ensures a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
Prepare & Review prototypes, enterprise blueprint, and the scope of initiative to meet the business imperatives.
Facilitates transition of Requirements to the Quality Assurance
Guide and Mentor Jr Business Analyst team
Understand agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test driven, model storming) and follow the same.
Assist in requirements validation, backlog grooming, coordinating development efforts
Communicate regularly in accordance with agreed upon communications plan about the technical aspect of the project
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across teams.
Knowledge & Experience with MS Word & Excel (document creation, properties, fields, formatting, etc.)
