Candidates must be in the Minneapolis area to be considered. (End-Client interview will be onsite) (Open to relocate candidates are welcome but they need to take in person interview)

Full-Stack Java Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Contract Length : 6+ month contract

Summary

Client is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer. This position will help maintain their core SaaS software platform and build-out exciting new products; a combination of Web applications and a data-processing/analytics platform.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Owner and internal users to design and develop new features and functions.
• Create software code and unit tests, as well as assist with testing, debugging, deployment, and documentation.
• Apply coding methods and database performance measures to enhance program execution and functionality.
• Install code releases and patches, as well as write scripts or programs for deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java or another JVM language (e.g., Java, Scala), SQL, HTML/JS/CSS.
• 3+ years of experience with MySQL, Linux, and Apache Web servers.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience, deploying code and managing AWS environments.
• 1+ years of experience with Web (CSS) frameworks including Foundation or Bootstrap.
• Extensive experience in object-oriented design development
