Skills Required:
- Must have 5 years of experience in software implementation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development position, is preferred
- Develop installation scripts using PowerShell
- Implement stable, high quality, high performance applications
- Debug, document and maintain complex programs
- Working knowledge of server/database procedures
- Working knowledge of source control (TFS)
- Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel
- Unit and integration testing and results validation
- Experience supporting production applications
- Experience working with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong problem- determination skills and resolution experience.
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- High degree of self-motivation, commitment, integrity and a self-starter
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience

Work Description:
- Document requirements for POS service pack
- Development installation package using PowerShell and Publix installation process
- Unit test installation and release in stage environment
- Participate in the certification rounds performed by the testing team
- Work with testing team to resolve all defects founds in testing
- Document the release materials to implement the service pack
- Monitor the implementation of the release to all 1200+ locations
- Check-in the package into Harvest or similar tool
- Enhance base packages for efficiency
- Lab defect research
- Produce and fortify wikis for defect research and application documentation
- Create and enhance the process for training people for package rollup
