Job Description:

·The .NET Developer position will work with the Software Development team to architect, develop, and support a .NET web-based application.

·The position will require familiarity with .NET development environment and development tools, SQL  database design and stored procedure development.

·The software developer will work closely with the Application Manager and Project Manager to complete technical specifications and complete coding tasks on schedule.

Essential Job Functions:

• Architect and process software development tasks from Project Manager
• Take direction for technical development from Application Manager, Develop software based on standards as outlined by management
• Develop and maintain web-based applications built on .NET framework 3.5/4.0 and SQL 2008
• Visual Studio .NET 2008 and 2010
• Programming and testing applications/software according to the design specifications
• Fixing code deficiencies found during the assembly test/system test phase
• Supporting, maintaining and upgrading software/application after it moves into production
• Supporting analysis and resolution of complex issues in customer environments

Position Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3-5 years of web development experience; ability and willingness to mentor others strongly preferred
• .Net 3.5/4.0 Framework, ASP.Net, VB.Net, ADO.Net experience interacting with SQL Server 2008
• Skilled in writing Stored Procedures, triggers and views for Microsoft SQL Server 2008
• Understanding of relational database concepts and ability to apply these concepts in building data models.
