Extensive experience in the deployment of data platforms and tools on Linux environments preferably Pentaho, Apache Nifi
Experience using scripting languages such as bash, PowerShell, SQL
Experience packaging and deploying tools/software on Linux/Windows using config management tools such as Ansible
Experience building RPM Linux packages
Good troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve data platform related issues.
Good communication/collaboration skills and ability to articulate system designs and patterns to varying levels of leadership.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or any other technology related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also accepted for the position
Experience: Minimum 3+ years in IS development and 1+ years managing and supporting cloud data platforms preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred experience working with or administering tools such as Pentaho, Apache Nifi or Hadoop tools
Preferred experience with working in an agile product development
