Summary: We are looking to hire a Software Development Engineer. This individual will help with the build out of multi-tenancy feature-set for micro service based apps and other capability for the product. This individual must be able to hit the ground running and be able to deliver under tight timelines. This individual will be part of a highly collaborative, rapid delivery and results focused team. Ability to solve problems, demonstrate critical thinking, collaborate effectively and being accountable are keys to be successful in this role.
Essential Functions:
- Strong hands-on development experience using Java technologies (Java, Spring, Spring boot framework).
- Strong foundation in OO Design, Architecture, Microservices Architecture Patterns, and Design Patterns
- Proficient in Event-Driven Architecture using Message Broker
- Design and develop cloud based micro-services
- Ability to quickly assess multifaceted problems and complex situations and recognize patterns to identify and resolve the root cause
- Works well with others and is a skilled communicator both written and verbally
- Deliver reliable/robust software through continuous integration, automated testing, and in-depth code reviews within framework of Agile/SCRUM
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
5+ years’ experience in software development in JVM based languages
- Proficiency in writing stable, robust and reliable unit, integration and system level testing
- Passionate for creating scalable, secure and maintainable software
- Secure coding practices and adherence to OWASP standards
- Experience as a software developer with experience in Java and platforms delivering multiple commercially deployed products to market
- Experience developing highly secure, scalable, reliable and performant software systems in the cloud, preferably using AWS
- Strong collaboration skills: accomplishing tasks will often require working across teams and coordinating work on your own team
