Job Title - Cloud Project Manager
Location - NYC, NY

Duration -12-24+ Months

 

Key Responsibilities: 

·         10+ years of experience managing full life-cycle technical projects or programs of an increasingly large and complex scale in a related industry.

·         Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline or 4+ years equivalent work experience is required.

·         Experience in creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans; prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with teams in multiple time zones.

·         Experience managing cloud infrastructure projects in distributed locations creating infrastructure and PaaS solutions with in-house and outsourced teams. Requires strong partner and vendor management skills.

·         Must be able to handle a wide range of tasks and will be able to work well independently as well as in a rapid paced team environment.

·         Establish and champion recommended project requirements, design, and planning standards including delivery methodology such as Agile, Lean, etc. based on project needs.

·         Develop project roadmap and defines project purpose, clear roles, risks, tasks, milestones, and measures of success.

·         Transform Project plan tasks to Jira sprint stories and perform resource capacity planning and assist with analysis for story elaboration and acceptance criteria

·         Manage partner/vendor outsourcing engagements and foster accountability for deliverables, timeline, and quality during program/project delivery

·         Ensure that project status, material variations and technical information are proactively and effectively communicated to numerous audiences, including senior management, stakeholders and team members.

·         Perform regular risk assessments and managing risk mitigation plans.

·         Anticipate and address obstacles and potential areas of risk and provide timely feedback on performance to the team.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical teams.

·         A solid grasp of the business side of technology with an understanding for metrics and analysis to deliver on business objectives.

·         Demonstrated ability to deliver and be highly innovative in a related area: platform as a service, private / public / hybrid cloud, EDI, etc. · Familiarity with the AWS product suite.

·         Background in ITIL service management, with successful track record of implementing configuration, change and incident management solutions and supporting processes and best practices.

Desired Qualifications: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Science, Information Systems or related degree required. PMP Preferred

·         BSc or Engineering is desired with 3+ years’ experience in Asset management and / or Financial Industry

·         Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
