Job Title:- Project Manager
Client: MPhasis / Apollo Global
Duration: Permanent W2
Location: New York
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex project management through the design and implementation of projects
- Provide analysis and oversee the execution of key quality improvement projects and initiatives
- Identify risks, plan for unanticipated outcomes, and form appropriate contingency plans
- Ensure robust program/project controls framework is used to deliver programs/projects on time, within budget, and follow governance protocol
- Communicate reports regarding project status, risk management and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team
Experience Required:
- Experience leading complex projects including multiple parties both internal and external
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- 10+ years of industry full-cycle experience with SDLC methodologies and approaches, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications
- Knowledge of credit instruments. (Bank Loans, Bonds, Derivatives, etc.)
- Deep understanding of the Trade Processing and Asset Servicing function (e.g. corporate actions, collateral management, trade operations, etc.)
- Adept at listening and soliciting feedback from middle-office users and stakeholders
- Independent business analysis skills
- Detail & process-oriented
- Solid team player with a strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment
Educational Requirements:
- An advanced degree from a top university is strongly desired
