Must have Skills: At least 8+ years of experience in performance engineering, capacity planning with in-depth knowledge of identifying and debugging modern data platform problems. (Data Layers, Data Pipelines, ETL jobs, Cloud Data Warehouses, etc.)Good understanding of performance testing approaches such as load testing, scalability testing, endurance testing, spike/volume testing, NFR’s, SLA/SLO, TPS, etc. Strong hands on experience in scripting, simulating the workloads using JMeter, Load Runner, Blaze Meter, Selenium, etc. Strong experience in understanding, executing, and troubleshooting the Informatica ETL and Control-M scheduler.
Good to have skills: Good understanding of Test Data Generation tools such as GenRocket, and ability to use API’s to generate the synthetic data required for volume testing.Good understanding of Snowflake architecture, and strong hands on experience with Snowflake Streams/Tasks, Snowpipe, SQL coding, Data Sharing, Virtual Warehouses, etc.Good knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS Storage S3, and SaaS offerings such as Guidewrie CC/PC, Gidewire API’s, and Gidewire CDA.Familiarity with DevSecOps tools, Visualization tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, etc.
