Oversee delivery of all Functional testing activities for assigned IT Program or Area as appropriate.
Ensure co-ordination between Functional testing, Performance and Automation Testing teams for assigned Area
Take responsibility for ensuring QA delivery and management of Test resources, Pipeline, Status Reporting, Test Plans, Cases, Scripts, Results, Test Readiness Reviews, post-implementation Reviews
Where appropriate review and approve test plans ensuring alignment with standards
Determine the appropriate quality initiatives to implement during each phase of the system development life cycle
Take responsibility for the development of Solution and testing policies, standards and procedures
Manage Team workload, performance and delivery targets
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT Services, IT Solutions functions and customers to expedite delivery of IT solutions
Work closely with off-shore 3rd party vendors to deliver projects to time, cost and quality requirements
Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or customers
Take responsibility for the implementation and management of strategic initiatives to Global QA Testing activities including standards, strategies and roadmaps
Participate in programme/project review meetings to determine status, problem areas, suggest and review corrective actions, directing/planning necessary extra work, and rework and re-plan activities
Assist in the development, maintenance, and the provision of training on testing procedures
Some hands-on test execution may be required for the Coordinators role
