I am looking to fill a Big Data Designer/Dev in Snoqualmie, WA. This can be hybrid but we require candidates to be local and to have received the Covid Vaccine

This may convert to permanent in the future so candidates must be able to convert without a fee incurred (this will be well into the future most likely)

The team is focused on writing code to build new (and upgrade existing) data collectors and parsers using PERL/Python and onboarding the data into several Cloudera Hadoop environments (Kudu, Impala, Kafka, and Spark).

Core Skills required:-

·         Strong knowledge of PERL, Python

·         Hands on experience (interest) with big data distributions (Cloudera, Hortonworks, Apache)

·         Strong relational database and data modeling experience

·         Good understanding of file data collections at scale

·         Experience with network setup and troubleshooting

·         Experience with HW scaling and support

·         End to End troubleshooting for data mediation

·         Strong SQL experience (Oracle/Impala/Hive)

·         Knowledge of network performance and CDR data
