Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the appropriate lifecycle phases for implementation and support for one large or multiple medium projects

Documents project objectives and ensures they meet expected business results/outcome.

Drives the development and execution of project plan by working with project team to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives

Creates project schedules including resource tracking, assignments, tasks, dependencies, deliverables and milestones, due dates, predecessors, budget and financial tracking, issues management.

Defines and implements project and program management standards and processes

Accountable for ensuring that deliverables from business and technology partners are produced and approved according to multiple project schedules. This includes requirement documents, functional and technical design documents, test plans, etc.

Proactively identifies and manages project risks and dependencies and raises awareness around projects across the portfolio.

Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and clear communication is provided to all project stakeholders.

Communicates with involved departments and management; facilitates communication forums including team meetings.

Assembles project steering committee(s) and communicates regularly and effectively with management on project progress.

Has extensive interaction with senior leadership within the customer.

Coordinates project meetings with relevant team members.

Serves as single point of contact for all project management related questions and refers technical questions to appropriate subject matter experts and ensures timely follow up.

Accountable for and leads other project managers on highly complex projects.

Determines and coordinates the sharing of leveraged resources among projects.

Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for project management process improvements.

Responsible for developing, refining, and monitoring the project budgets throughout the project life cycles.

Manages budgets to hours and dollar allocations to the approved amounts in accordance with financial processes.
