Hands-on Database Administration related work experience on MySQL.

- String Knowledge of MySQL's underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB, MyISAM and RocksDB

- Automated backup / snapshots, LVM

- Experience with replication configuration in MySQL, event scheduler, Clustering, Replication, Query and Configuration tuning

- Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL

- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements and function.

- Strong Knowledge of Data Base Table design, Performance tuning and Indexing.

- Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, etc.

- Migration of data from Data Center to Cloud and vice-versa like AWS RDS, EC2, CloudSQL, Azure VM.

- Architecture based archival without replication delays.

- Backup can be moved to different server / storage / Cloud (AWS S3, Amazon Glacier, Google bucket)

- Perform database backup and recovery, analyses server and memory utilization.

- Storage engine suggestions according to the business needs.

- MySQL DBA Certifications would be a plus
