- Act as the system expert for all finance related configuration (SAP FICO) to support business processes with SAP S/4 Hana as the central platform
- Lead functional and technical, configuration and development for finance business processes within an SAP S/4 Hana landscape
- Roll-out SAP best practices and SAP delivered standard Fiori Apps and reports.
- SAP FICO Application support
- Propose, lead and deploy small and medium-size continuous improvement projects within financial systems primarily SAP FICO.
- Write functional and technical specifications with ability to propose BAPI, BADI’s, user exit and function modules to developers
- Create and provide support for SAP and non-SAP financial reporting
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and internal digital teams to design, develop and implement solutions with integration to non-FI SAP modules MM PP-PI, MM, SD, QM
- Help shape the strategy for an integrated landscape of financial systems
- Independently deliver projects and initiatives in a timely and qualitative manor
- Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues
- Participate in the demand management process to assist the business in establishing business cases relating to new systems or potential system changes
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Functional SAP expertise in General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, product costing, cost object controlling, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, project systems, consolidation, profitability analysis and period end close
- Expertise in SAP delivered best business practices and Fiore Apps.
- Deep understanding of SAP FICO master data objects
- Expertise in developing financial reporting using SAP tools such as queries, AO and working with BI developers in proposing backend data extraction from SAP and disparate systems
- Minimum 5 years working with financial business processes and financial systems
- 3-5 years of experience working with SAP required with S/4 HANA experience as a bonus
- Deep understanding of the following SAP modules FI, CO, AP, AR, tax and bolt-on tax modules
- Experience integrating with SAP MM, PP-PI, SD, QM and WM
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects or workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Proven work experience with SaaS systems, cloud applications, and digital integration
- Data and business process modeling skills strongly preferred
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing life sciences environment is a bonus
- Digital Transformation / process change management experience preferred
